I am honored to chair this dynamic Network for another year.
When I think back over the past 12 months, I am proud to have been a part of
the successful growth of our Network. The Executive Committee and I are working
to bring Packaging Network members more opportunities for world-class
networking and only-in-XXX educational opportunities.
Our industry is rapidly growing and changing. In this world
of increasing distractions and decreasing attention spans, packaging has become
more important than ever. Packaging is so much more than a method of containing
products. In today’s business climate, packaging and how it is handled – from
design to production to disposal – can make or break a business.
This is why it is so important our Network remain vibrant
and active. We have some exciting networking events on the schedule and we are
working to bring you Global Conference Calls with true innovators in the
packaging industry. We are our own best resources for sharing ideas,
communicating best practices and working together to lead the Packaging
Network, and our industry, into the future.
I am also pleased to announce we are working to create a
Packaging Industry track at this year’s Food and Beverage Summit, scheduled for
24-26 October 2011at the fabulous Trump Hotel in Chicago. The Food and Beverage
Network has graciously included us in their signature only-in-XXX experience
chaired by XXXX XXXXXX (XXX Empire
State) and an impressive advisory committee.
We are fortunate to have an active, enthusiastic membership
base, dedicated to working toward a brighter future for their businesses, for XXX
and for the packaging industry as a whole. If you are interested in becoming a
